(247)  THE RAMBLER’S REGRESS: SO NEAR, YET SO FAR …  

 

The Naked Rambler Steve Gough returned to Inverness Prison on 28 August 2003, having been remanded there in custody from Dingwall Sheriff Court (hitherto best known to readers of Scots Law News as the scene of many Skye Bridge toll non-payment cases – see Nos 4, 10, 116), following a further arrest for breach of the peace following a complaint by a woman startled” by his appearance in Muirton Wood at Tore in the Black Isle.  Gough will make another court appearance on 18 September
