THE BUSINESS EXPERTS AND LAW FORUM – COMPLIMENTARY (SIC) MEDICINE FOR THE LEGAL SYSTEM?

On 4th February 2008 the Scottish Government launched the Business Experts and Law Forum which will consider how to make legal structures and services more business friendly.  The forum comprises Robert Crawford, Glasgow Caledonian University, Professor Russell Griggs, from the Confederation of British Industry, Stephen Pearson, Royal Bank of Scotland, Charlotte Barbour, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Michael Clancy, director of law reform at the Law Society of Scotland, Karina McTeague, Lloyds TSB Scotland, Richard Keen, Dean of the Faculty of Advocates and Ian Johnston, Norwich Union.
