(76)  A New Year’s Honour

The New Year’s Honours List for January 2000 included a knighthood for Sheriff Gerald Gordon QC, author of the standard work, The Criminal Law of Scotland (2nd edition, 1978), and editor of Renton & Brown’s Criminal Procedure and the Scottish Criminal Case Reports for many years.
