(189)  Giving evidence by video link

In a rape trial at the High Court of Justiciary in Edinburgh on 7 August 2002 a witness living in Brisbane, Australia, gave evidence by way of video link to the court.  The witness, who was located in a court room in Brisbane, was sworn in under the law of Queensland and Scotland.
