(211)  Judicial appointments

The Honourable Lady Cosgrove has become the first woman to be appointed to the Inner House of the Court of Session. The appointment, on 6 January 2003, was made by the Lord President and the Lord Justice Clerk with the consent of Scottish Ministers.
