Mark Clark, the Scots lawyer who ended up training Iraq’s football team at the Athens Olympics in August 2004 (see No 377), has been awarded the MBE along with a number of other UK civilians for their contribution to the reconstruction of post-Saddam Hussein Iraq.  (15 December 2004)
